The following are some tools to (hopefully)
make your life a little easier. If you have an idea for something
you would like to see here, send a note to citl@ohio.edu
with the subject line "Toolkit Idea."

| Dynamic Table Assistant
The Dynamic Table Assistant is a tool for
creating web pages (viewable in Internet Explorer) with tables
of elements that can be clicked on to reveal other elements
beneath. These tables work much like a grid of flash cards
would. Each cell in the table can potentially have two states,
and clicking on a cell will switch between the two. If you
wish, you may view a small sample
created with this application. Notes: You will need Quicktime
installed in order to use this application. This application
is currently Mac-only. We are working on a Windows version.

| Image Resizer
Use this application to quickly save
an image in one of three sizes appropriate for use on the
web, in a Powerpoint presentation, HyperStudio stack, etc.
You can use Image Resizer to open nearly any kind of image
file, and it will save the image as a jpeg file in one of
three sizes that you select. Note: you will need Quicktime
installed in order to use this application.

| Text-to-JPEG
Use this application to quickly and
easily create graphic files from text. Type in the text using
any font and style you choose, and the application will output
a JPEG file that you can then use. This application should
be especially useful to those who may want to ensure that
a specific font is used, but can't guarantee that it will
be available on a given machine. Note: you will need
Quicktime installed
in order to use this application.
